RNCM Manchester International Cello Festival
Under the inspirational leadership of its founder Ralph Kirshbaum, the 9th RNCM Manchester International Cello Festival again created its unique blend of excitement and intensity through a wide-ranging programme which brought together the world's finest cellists. Students and audiences alike were given a richly satisfying experience and this festival has been a perfect example of the potential for our conservatoires to play a catalysing role in international music life.
