RPS Music Award Winners Announced
The winners of the RPS Music Awards were revealed at a glittering presentation and dinner at the Dorchester Hotel on Tuesday 14 May.
Royal Philharmonic Society Gold Medallist Dame Janet Baker presented the ‘silver lyre’ trophies to winners in 13 categories for outstanding achievement in 2012. A further four awards of Honorary Membership were presented to international visionary music-makers on four continents, as part of the the RPS's 2013 Biecentenary celebrations.
BBC Radio 3 will broadcast a special awards programme on Sunday 19 May at 2pm.
